Fully Electric SEAT Mii Unveiled
SEAT will now offer their smallest hatchback with an electric motor option.
As of October 24th 2019, the SEAT Mii can now be ordered with a 36.8kWh lithium-ion battery. The unit provides up to 161 miles (WLTP) of driving range, taking only one hour to charge to 80% on a Rapid Charger. To reach the same level of charge on an AC 7.2kW home charger, drivers need only wait four hours – perfect for overnight or evening charging.
The Mii Electric has only one trim which offers an impressive variety of standard equipment, the features of which creates great value-for-money at the £19,300 (including the Government Grant) price point. Metallic Paint is free, coming in five colours: Deep Black, Candy White, Tornado Red, Chester Blue and Tungsten Silver.
Exterior features include 16-inch Cosmo Grey matte alloy wheels, heated and electrically adjustable door mirrors, LED daytime running lights, dark-tinted rear windows and heated front & rear windows. The cabin also maintains an admirable specification, with heated front sports seats, a leather steering wheel, gear knob & handbrake lever.
SEAT haven’t skimped on the technology either. The Mii Electric comes with Hill Hold Control, Lane Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Rear parking sensors, Air conditioning, Cruise control, Rain sensor wipers, Comfort suspension and Smartphone integration.
Drivers will be able to install the Drive Mii app to their smartphone, which allows remote climate control, as well as providing information on departure times, parking position, driving data, vehicle stats and well as the status of doors and lights.
The electric motor powering the small hatchback creates 83PS and 212NM of torque, propelling the car from 0-31mph in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 81mph. Insurance group 12E means owning and running the Mii Electric will come with significant cost benefits.
